In this course, you take the helm inside the Mission Control Centre, hands-on designing, creating, testing, re-viewing, executing, and auditing your Mission, using the latest industry-adopted Newspace Mission Software, providing knowledge, experience and insight of the inner workings of a Newspace Mission Operations Team. This course provides you with an intensive experience of what it takes to run a Mission from concept to completion.

  • Newspace Entrepreneurship

    In this variation of work-experience, high school students will work in small groups to create their own space startup. They will form a fictional company, devise a mission plan, and outline a business strategy. Students will brainstorm innovative space exploration or technology ideas, design the mission objectives, and identify the necessary resources. They will also develop a business plan, including budgeting, marketing strategies, and potential partnerships. A key focus will be on incorporating sustainability, ensuring their mission and business practices are environmentally responsible. Throughout the project, students will learn about the space industry, teamwork, and entrepreneurship, culminating in a presentation of their startup concept and mission proposal to a panel of judges. This hands-on project aims to inspire creativity and practical problem-solving skills in the context of the growing newspace economy.
